Terms & Conditions

In these terms & conditions, Adrienne Photography Ltd shall refer to Adrienne Photography Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company no: 07886066). "The Client" shall be the individual or company booking Adrienne Photography Ltd’s services. These terms & conditions cannot be varied unless expressly agreed by the photographer or videographer in writing. By booking or agreeing to book Adrienne Photography Ltd’s services, The Client acknowledges acceptance of these terms and conditions.

PRE-PRODUCTION CONSULTATION:

A complimentary pre-production consultation will be arranged prior to the shoot to finalize shooting times, locations, and the Client’s request list (in writing) for specific images or video content. This consultation ensures alignment on creative direction and production logistics.

COOPERATION:

The Client and Adrienne Photography Ltd agree to cooperate fully and communicate clearly to achieve the best possible results. The Client agrees to designate a point of contact, if necessary, to assist in identifying key individuals or locations and facilitating the production process. Adrienne Photography Ltd cannot be held liable for missed shots or footage if The Client or their designees fail to communicate important details or cooperate during the shoot.

SHOOTING SCHEDULE:

The agreed shooting schedule is essential to achieve the intended results. Adrienne Photography Ltd reserves the right to adjust the schedule as necessary to account for unforeseen circumstances but will make every effort to adhere to the agreed timeline. In the event of significant delays caused by The Client or third parties, Adrienne Photography Ltd cannot guarantee the completion of all planned shots.

THIRD-PARTY INTERFERENCE:

The Client acknowledges that external disruptions (e.g., people taking their own photos or videos during the shoot) can interfere with the photography or videography process. Adrienne Photography Ltd will not be held responsible for any loss of images or footage due to such interruptions.

VENUE AND PERMIT RESTRICTIONS:

The Client agrees to inform Adrienne Photography Ltd of any restrictions at the shoot location (e.g., limitations on camera equipment, lighting, or access to certain areas). The Client will be responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, and Adrienne Photography Ltd cannot be held responsible for missed shots or footage due to venue-imposed restrictions or failure to secure appropriate permits.

All images and video content produced by Adrienne Photography Ltd remain the property of Adrienne Photography Ltd under English copyright law. Adrienne Photography Ltd grants The Client a license to use the final deliverables for their specified commercial purposes. Any resale, publication, or distribution of the content beyond these specified purposes requires written permission from Adrienne Photography Ltd.

MODEL AND LOCATION RELEASE:

The Client grants Adrienne Photography Ltd, its legal representatives, and assigns the irrevocable right to use any images or footage taken during the shoot for promotional, editorial, or advertising purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, use on the Adrienne Photography Ltd website, social media platforms, and marketing materials. The Client is responsible for obtaining all necessary model or location releases.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY:

In the unlikely event that the photographer or videographer becomes unable to perform the services due to illness, injury, or any other unforeseen circumstance, Adrienne Photography Ltd will make every effort to secure a replacement. If a replacement cannot be arranged, liability is limited to the return of any payments made prior to the event.

While Adrienne Photography Ltd takes great care to ensure the safety and security of all materials, in the event of technical failure, theft, or loss beyond our control, liability is limited to a refund of fees paid or rescheduling of the shoot where applicable.

EDITING AND ARTISTIC DISCRETION:

Adrienne Photography Ltd reserves the right to use artistic discretion in the production of images and videos, including the selection of shots, lighting, composition, and post-production editing. While client input is valued, the final aesthetic is at the discretion of Adrienne Photography Ltd. Any additional edits requested after delivery may incur an additional fee.

COMPLETION SCHEDULE:

Post-production, including editing, takes approximately two to four weeks depending on the scope of the project. Adrienne Photography Ltd will provide an estimated completion date at the time of booking. Delivery of final images or videos may take longer depending on the complexity of the project and any additional services requested.

PAYMENT AND DEPOSITS:

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure Adrienne Photography Ltd's services. In the event of cancellation by The Client, this deposit will be retained as liquidated damages. Final payment is due upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Client is committing to purchasing the services and products ordered once a booking is made.

GDPR Privacy policy

This policy communicates detailed information about how Adrienne Photography collects, stores and uses personal data throughout the process of you using this website, enquiring about a photo shoot, booking a photo shoot, carrying out a shoot, editing and delivering photographs, and adding data (image and written details) to Adrienne Photography online and print portfolios (website, blog, social media, printed leaflets, price lists etc).

After your photo shoot we may have collected written details (via email or contact form) that may include your name and contact information, and digital photographs of you and your family, friends and guests (that can be identified) from your shoot with me. Your identifiable details come under data protection.

The data we process:

Your contact details, details about your shoot, images from your shoot, images that may be identifiable as you, images that may be identifiable as your family, friends and guests, images that may be identifiable as your clients and guests (if event photography).

Why we process/collect your data:

To be able to contact you regarding your shoot and to be able to consult with you regarding your shoot, pre-shoot or post-shoot services, to offer you the best service, to edit your images, to retouch your images and to deliver your images. To create products like prints and albums after your shoot. To add to my ongoing online and printed portfolios. We also keep your images to ensure we have your photos should you lose your images or require another copy.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

You have the right to know what data we hold at any time.

You have the right to have the information we hold deleted at any time.

You have a right to complain to the ICO if you are concerned about how we, Lucian and Adriana Paraian, (on behalf of Adrienne Photography) handle your data.
